If you’ve ever been to a site like Swagbucks, Earnhoney, InstaGC, or any other GPT site that allows you to earn money taking surveys you’ve wondered if there’s a way to qualify for more surveys. The good news is that there is, but it’s not what you’d expect!
You’re not going to get rich taking surveys. I wish you could, but it’s just not possible. If you’re interested in making money beyond ordinary “Beer Money” I’d recommend you check out our guides on Making Serious Money Online or Creating A Phone Farm.
Why Don’t I Qualify, Anyway?
It’s not you, it’s the survey.
There’s a process called “pre-screening” that the survey makes you go through in order to ensure that they’re getting people who will help them get an accurate image of their target demographic. This means that most companies are looking for an “average Joe”.
It’s also possible that you didn’t get in soon enough. You need to make sure you get in early if you want to be accepted to a survey, because everyone else is trying to get in with you, and the survey company’s budget dictates how many people can be accepted.
So How Do I Qualify For More Surveys?
The first step is to look for short surveys. Long surveys will sometimes lead you on just to boot you at the end. Short surveys do the same thing on occasion, but at least you’ll waste less time on them.
I also suggest going for surveys that pay large amounts. There are some surveys that pay $1.00 or more, and I always think those are worth a shot due to the large payout alone.
So How Is It Done?
Here’s how to qualify for more surveys:
Just Be Honest.
If you’re honest it allows you to power through the surveys faster, and if you lie on your surveys your account will be banned. Being honest on your surveys will usually allow you to get booted out faster if you don’t qualify, but if you lie that’s usually when you’re booted out toward the end.
It’s really that simple. Just be honest when you take surveys and you’ll make the most money on your survey sites.
You Mean I Can’t Lie At All?
Okay… Maybe a little.
There are certain questions that are asked in order to disqualify people who would have biased opinions. Like I said, they’re looking for the average Joe. So if you’re trying to qualify for a survey that asks for your opinion on an advertisement, they’ll probably ask a question about whether or not you’re in the advertising industry. This also applies to questions about whether or not you take surveys frequently. This is one of those times where it’s in your benefit to lie, as long as it’s a lie you can commit to. If you get caught lying on survey sites your account will be locked, no questions asked, so you have to make sure you’re careful.
Some Extra Tips
Join a ton of survey panels – as many as you can – but never pay to be a part of a survey panel. Paying for a membership just isn’t worth it. You won’t make your money back.
Use a separate email. You should already have a spam email specifically for websites you know will send you spam, but using a second one for surveys is generally a good idea as well.
Never give out your Social Security Number. Seriously, you’d think that’s common sense.
Get a Paypal account. It’s the best way to cash out because it allows you to then put that cash right into your bank account! Sometimes there’s a small fee associated with this, but it’s no big deal, it’s still cash money.
Check out Roboform. Roboform fills in certain forms for you online and remembers your information. It’s a safe program and won’t sell your information, and it makes the process of filling out surveys so much easier. It allows you to complete a lot more in a lot less time.
