Perk.com is a lesser known beer money site, but it’s still popular nonetheless. Perk allows you to complete tasks and earn Perk Points. These Perk Points can then be cashed in for gift cards, Paypal money, or you can even use them to enter a sweepstake and win bigger ($500 or more!) payouts. Perk is deceivingly easy to use, but difficult to use effectively. If you want to find out how to make more Perk Points keep reading below.
What is Perk.com?
Perk.com is a website that allows you to make money by completing certain tasks that they make available.
By completing tasks such as filling out surveys or watching videos you can earn Perk Points. Perk Points can then be exchanged for different rewards such as cash, amazon gift cards, and various other gift cards.
How to use Perk
Perk.com offers a few different ways to earn more Perk Points.
Search The Web
You can earn Perk Points by searching the web using the search engine at the top of their website. This search engine is powered by Yahoo, so if you’re already using Yahoo search you’ll be getting the exact same search results.
From the research I’ve done, Perk rewards you for your searches in the same way Swagbucks does. If you use the search engine you’ll earn points randomly, but still pretty often. The search doesn’t reward you for nonsense searches, though, so searching something like “asdfghjkl” will do you no good.
Perk has offers that you can complete from a variety of different offer providers. These offer providers are the same ones we’re used to: Peanut Labs, Adscend, Trialpay. They’re the usual offer providers that you know you can trust.
These offer providers give you a small variety of offers. You can fill out surveys, sign up for programs, earn cashback rewards for purchases, and watch videos.
If you’ve been into beer money for a little while there’s no doubt you’ve heard of Perk.tv. Perk.tv is one of the most common ways to earn money by watching videos, alongside Earnhoney and Swagbucks.
You can use Perk.tv on the computer and your phone, so it’s super easy to set up a perk farm for passive income. You can make money with Perk.tv without having to put in any work. All you have to do is set up the app to play videos and you can make money. If you want to learn more about setting up a perk.tv farm or other video farm check out our guide HERE.
How Does Perk Pay You?
Perk has a few different payout options.
One of the things that make Perk so confusing is that it’s hard to compare Perk Points to any denomination of currency because it varies so widely based on what you’re trying to redeem. Each option is going to vary based on it’s “worth”, so here we’ll go into a little detail.
Gift cards are pretty consistently about 1000 Points=$1.
There’s a huge collection of companies you can buy gift cards for, including Amazon, Nike, Walmart, and TONS more. The are so many options, if your current payout methods aren’t diverse enough you may want to check this out.
The Paypal payout ratio is kind of weird with Perk, but it rewards you for waiting to cash out. In order to get a $5 payout, you’ll need 9,000 points. In order to get a $10 payout, you’ll need 15,000 points.
The more you save, the fewer points you need, and so on and so forth.
Something pretty unique to Perk is the prizes. Perk allows you to exchange your points for different prizes from a slow cooker to a portable car charger, or even an aquatic hoverboard if you please.
These prizes pretty consistently work on the rate of 1,000 points=$1.
Tokens are a weird system that Perk has set up in order to add another level to their payout system. Personally, I think it’s unnecessary.
Some sweepstakes take tokens instead of points, so for that you’ll have to transfer your points into tokens… There’s no real reason I can find, it’s just something you have to do.
If you’re looking for a way to turn a couple points into a big prize you can check out Perk’s sweepstakes. Like any sweepstake you’re not guaranteed to win, you’re taking a chance by entering, but there’s also a chance you could turn only 16 points into $25.
If you’re someone who likes sweepstakes, raffles, or anything like that, you might have some fun with Perk’s sweepstakes, and you might even make some money.
Is Perk.com Legit?
Yes, Perk.com is legit.
Perk won’t bamboozle you out of your points, and they’ll follow through on paying out your rewards.
There are plenty of stories online from people who have had issues with perk, and almost all of them have been resolved, so Perk is definitely a trustworthy site.
Is Perk Worth It?
I think Perk is totally worth it. Perk is actually one of my personal favorites, next to Swagbucks. It’s simple, it’s easy, and it’s profitable.
The various offers pay about as well as any other beer money site, so if you need more offers to complete or you’re not already completing offers I’d recommend you use Perk.
Perk.tv is the real money maker, though. If you want to maximize your perk points you should set up a Perk.tv farm. The Perk.tv farm is the easiest way to make money, hands down. All you have to do is set up the videos to run, and check on it every now and then to make sure they’re still running. You can make an extra $5 every day for doing pretty much nothing, there’s really no reason not to do it.
